Unless someone comes up with something I like better I'm thinking Irish Twist the corners of the star make me think of twist ties and the crossed over green lines also make me think of twists. those are the parts that make you think of tic tac toe

I considered Irish TicTacToe maybe. but rt now I'm leaning toward Irish Twist

Some quilt blocks I've looked at online don't have any connection between the quilt block and the name. I prefer some sort of connection.

Keep on thinking everyone!! I'm sure there is that perfect name out there yet!

I like the idea of twist in the name, but am wondering is the Irish part because it's green? If made in red or scrappy, would it still be "Irish"? I was thinking something like Twisted Jack, or Twisted Star...

Ooh wildyard I really like Twisted Jack. it's interesting and different. The Jack is also something suggested in this thread. I like using something from the thread in the name.

I had the same concerns about the green influencing the name. But it could be used and when someone uses a diff color they can change the name to suit their colors.

So we have Irish Twist or Twisted Jack so far.

Love collaborating with like minds!! LOL

To me it looks like jacks and little balls kids play with, .so my idea is Jacks. It is a nice block.
