Default Pantos for less dense quilting

Yesterday I used a panto for the first time on my HQ 16 and was reasonably satisfied with the result (considering it was a learning experience).

It seems that most pantos end up with relatively dense quilting, more quilting than is sometimes needed.

Does anyone have a solution or source?

Thanks in advance.

Pantos come in varying sizes and density. Keep looking.

Digi Tech prints paper patterns to your choice size. It lists recommended size range and default. You get to pick. They also have computer programs, that you print out the size you want (just take it to a computer/copy shop). You can deside on the density yourself.

I have made my own pantographs using the paper that comes in the rolls of batting. I draw the pattern on a piece of legal paper, fold the roll of paper accordion style, pin the pattern on top, then sew over the pattern. Please note it does make the pattern, then a mirror image on the next side, but if you are careful with your drawing it won't be noticed.
