I just found out that Wilmington Prints is going to be making a group of fabrics featuring buffalos. (Or is that buffaloes?)

If anyone is interested, just post a reply; if I know that anybody is interested, I can post pictures of the fabrics when I find them.

Please do post pics when you find them or a link to the website...
Many here do western themed quilts or are looking for novelty fabrics for a variety of quilt patterns :D

Yes, it is a new group, called "Where the Buffalo Roam". It has some great scenic prints that would work well for landscape quilt projects - including a mountain print in misty blue or tan, and a sagebrush-and-dirt fabric. Much as I love the buffalo, I think my favorite is the sagebrush! It just looks so realistic.

I will post pictures.

Ok, here are some pictures. Apparently you can include three per post, so this will stretch out a bit.

The first one is a border stripe. The next two are the panel (the first two pictures are the panel, there are four small blocks and a larger central one.

There is also a scenic plus two prairie meadow wildflower prints.

I'm told that the buffalo scenic is very realistic, that it's exactly what they look like, shedding hair and all. Maybe someday I'll get out west myself. Till then... bring on the fabric, at least!

There are two sagebrush prints too. Rainy season and dry, maybe?
