Default I need Help in making a pp pattern

I was trying to make a quilt from a book I purchased that contains small blocks, usually one half inch. Well after trying I failed, so I used EQ7 in enlarging the pattern, and then turning it into paper piecing to make it easier for me to handle such small pieces - I only enlarged it to one inch blocks. I have all but the one below figured out. This should be an easy one, but I can't for the life of me get it to print out in "foundation pattern". I know it would contain 3 rows, but i just can't get the pattern figured out so that it prints out the foundation as 3 blocks in one row. When I go to print, the foundation section is not an option. Can anyone tell me how to do this???

The Finished size has to be 3 inches.

to get this, click on your block. choose print foundation block. it should come up with 3 blue sections. click on preview and see if you get what I did. HTH

this is Exactly what I want. But I still can't get it. Maybe I am starting out wrong. I go to layout and choose each block square, one half square, to be 1 inch and the total block 3 inches. ???

i don't understand what you mean by choosing 1/2 square.
i did my layout with only one 3" block. for the block design, i did the design on the top left that you posted.
in working on quilt, i inserted the one drawn block on the quilt. then i clicked on that block and did as noted in prev post.

Am a bit confused by what you mean by 'layout', so am not sure this is the correct reply.

If you are trying to place your block into a quilt in EQ, you must first create your layout using 3" blocks, and insert the 3" blocks. If your layout is made up of 1" blocks, you have to create and save individual pieces - eg. 1'' squares and hst's in the block section and insert them one by one in the quilt layout section.

Making up the 3" foundation-pieced blocks, your squares will still need to be cut at 1 1/2'' , and the triangles for the HSTs I would cut 2" squares once diagonally, then trim the block to 3 1/2" when it's all put together.

Thanks for the answers. I was starting out wrong, I was trying to insert pre-made blocks. This morning I went into Easy Draw and made the block and it turned out so I can paper piece. I still think this block is a normal block, but can't find it anywhere.
