I have just finished piecing a queen size dresden plate. My question is: Would you do it on a longarm or just do SID on a domestic? I have checked out the gallery here and it has been done both ways. I love the one done by Charisma, but, I am in no way that talented. I have always just SID my other ones, but, now that I have theTin Lizzie, I'm wondering if it is feasible. Any suggestions or feedback would greatly be appreciated. The attached picture is a mockup someone on the board did for me, so atleast you can see the pattern.
Mockup done by board member - mine is actually 25 blocks set on point like this one.

I have it loaded on the Tin Lizzie. However, I am not that proficent yet on the longarm. I am scared I will wreck the top and it needs to be finished for July 9 when we go to DH's family. I guess my question now is, do I do a small meander around the plates or loop-de-loops or what? I would really like something that is easy to do and not have to spend hours ripping out the stitches because they are too sloppy. I really need to spend more time building my confidence with more practise obviously, but as usual, I have a very strict deadline.
