Default Swimming themed quilt

I want to make a quilt for a young lady whose only interest (right now) is her swim team. Any ideas for a quilt. I was hoping to just use a swimming motif fabric for backing, so far no luck finding that fabric.

There are paper pieced bathing suit patterns I think on the net. There are also good water fabrics. If you can find a fabric with bathing suits on it, Warm Wishes pattern would work.

A friend did a almost jelly roll race quilt with blues and whites to represent the water. Then she appliquéd a figure swimming in black in one corner. It was very effective.

I was thinking of the Monkey wrench quilt and saw this one:

I can do this one (WW). Let's hope I can find a swimming fabric on my next trip to the city. Can't risk shopping on line. We are expecting a postal strike (hopefully not). I have two baby quilts to mail. The babies will be grown if this keeps dragging out.

true4uca, I am not sure where on the Island you live and which are your local quilt shops. I am in the Cowichan Valley.

When I was in Parksville picking up the Row by Row kit, I noticed that they have lots of beach theme fabrics. I did not look too closely, but they may have something more closely related to swimming.

I will be heading up Island midweek to pick up some more row by rows, I will ask about swimming related fabrics for you.

When I think swimming, I think beach, which leads to flip flops. I know there is a pattern for flip flop blocks. But I also really like the jelly roll race with a black silhouette swimmer idea too. That could be really effective.

Swim team, to me, says swimming pool VS beach theme. Almost all those ManiacQuilter2 posted could be changed from fish to swimmer.
