cool- but i will probably never remember which numbers i'm supposed to hit, and will probably not come looking for this post 3 weeks from now when i'm trying to tell someone how cold it is outside :)
wish it could be easy...ya know, the alt part is fine...but then 3 different numbers and symbols? to me it's just easier to write degree or cents then to try to figure out which numbers those are...unless there is some way to make a notation on the computer itself with a list of those...hmmmmm
thanks though, i always figured there was some way

Well the first two are what I got by using the number pad with the ALT key. The rest are three digit combos witht he ALT key. My son's gf spells her name with ï so i learned something very personally useful.
º ø
ø xoôöòÞefg◙hijoxéâäàÉêëï ÄÅÉæÆôøØàåëèï

It is easy. It's on your character map in system tools.

Another symbol is the cents '¢' symbol. Simply press down the 'Alt' button with one hand, punch in the numbers 155, release the 'Alt' button and like magic the cent '¢' symbol will appear.

I hope this helps someone, it is just a little knowledge and timesaver.
thanks
