I know this is not a new idea but I'm wondering if anyone has done this. I am making a Christmas table runner; while I was thinking about the backing I thought why not make the back a fall, Thanksgiving theme and then I would have 2 runners in one. Get it out for the fall and then just turn it over for Christmas. I've never had an original ieal in my life and this one is too easy to not have been thought of and made.

Wish I'd thought of that when I was making my fall tablerunner. Great idea! I might do that for next year.

I'm sure someone has already thought of it but it's still an excellent idea :D :D

Years ago I bought a round quilted table runner that was Chistmas on one side and fall on the other. I use it every year for Thanksgiving on thru Christmas.

Every runner I make I do as a double sided runner, that way it takes up less space in storage and easy to just flip from one side to another.

Yes... I have done this many times when making gift runners and placemats. It is really a nice way to make them. I try and choose fall and winter fabrics that coordinate well enough that choosing a binding isn't a problem.

I have one that a friend made me before I started quilting. It is Christmas on one side and Fall on the other.
