I printed out the pattern where you take the cereal bag, wash it, cut it, add fabric "tails" but can't remember if there is batting or not...anyone help me?

I made these out of fleece so they had the added advantage of being a small "snuggly".

I made a lot of them for baby gift. I tried many material (cotton, minky, flanel, satin...) and made some with batting, some without. Because you want it to be souple but still to have body, I had the best result when using flannel in the middle for batting.

I would love to make some of these types of things, but I haven't quite figured out the best way to collect an assortment of ribbon. I mean, there are tons of types of ribbon out there, but I'm thinking you want washable kinds, and I'd want to buy an assortment of patterns instead of lots of long rolls.

I saw a store once that sold odds and ends of ribbons. I should have nabbed them but wasn't in the market at the time...
