You are not alone. The last time I went to the doctor, I told the nurse her top would look great in a quilt!! :D

What's so neat about this thread is that a quilter in Milan, Italy started it. WOW! Maybe quilters can bring world peace.

Welcome to the world of the 'ole Pioneer's Ladies.
That is how it all started. Nice to know we haven't progressed so far from our ancestors to appreciate a
quality made quilts.

We were in a casino in Las Vegas and they were laying new carpet. It came in big squares that they would paste to the floor. It was a perfect quilt pattern. I even asked the carpet layers if they had an extra piece that they would be willing to part with. I just got a strange look. So no you are not weird.

Oh thank god! Hubby and I both do this with all our hobbies.

There is a girl I work with expecting her first child in a few months. She had on a new maternity shirt the other day. I told her what a nice quilt that fabric would make! :)

I look at people wearing cute scrubs. I saw one the other day with Betty Boop all over it--what a great quilt that would make! I buy cute scrubs at the thrift store, and now have started looking at them on people! What an addiction we all have.

Am I odd?

pippa, you're definitely not odd -- not by my standards, anyway. I see quilts on brick walls, marble floors, church ceilings, etc. Sometimes I wonder if the Lord minds my distraction. I've been in beautiful churches and cathedrals and all I can think of is why didn't I bring a pad and pen to sketch that pattern. Then I stare at the "pattern" until I think it's etched in my mind.
