So as I looked at finished blocks of quilters on several different social medias, I ve seen templates that looked to be made of a marble or stone. Does anyone know where these can be purchased?

Can you supply a link to such a template? I can't imagine those materials being used for any kind of quilting template.

In thinking about this question some more, I wonder if you are looking for a trivet rather than a template. Here are some ceramic trivets offered on ebay with quilt themes - https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...rivet&_sacat=0

I think I really would prefer a template to be transparent so fabric placement would be easier.

Yeah, I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. I've never seen templates made from marble or stone. Usually they're plastic or acrylic.

Isn't there a brand of templates made of masonite or something like that? That could be what the OP is asking about.
