I like the colors in the pink/peach block, but I wonder how they would look reversed? You used the darker center on the green, but the lighter center on the peach. That may be why the arrowhead doesn't stand out.

How about a flange of white before the floral sashing, or on both sides of the sashing. Not sure about the pink and apricot idea fine but needs a closer colour match. How come can make suggestions to others hopeless when I have my own problems?.

O.K. call me dense!!! What is the sew first then cut method? Paper piecing?

I'm glad to hear this because I'm doing this quilt next! I've got my squares cut and ready to go. I just need to finish the border on another quilt before I can start this one.

Will you post a pic of the whole quilt? Maybe it will help us see how the blocks in this border will look framing the whole quilt. thanks

My vote is for the green blocks too. What is the name of that block pattern? Is it paper pieced? I love it and will have to add that to my list of things to make!

I guess it is just me but I am not crazy about the darker green. My monitor might be off but to me the darker green isn't quite right. I am sure in the end whatever you do will be beautiful.

I would like to know also. I don't remember seeing a link to the pattern, but it would be nice to know how it was made.

I must be the odd one. I think the block itself very cool. But, a softer, less modern block would work better with floral. Just my two cents worth. LOL!
