    Default super elegant, masculine pillowcases

I have been tasked to make some "super, elegant, masculine" pillowcases for a friend. Nothing sports related. His bedroom colors are dark brown tile floor, medium brown leather suede (!) bed covering, khaki walls. Black drapes. Furniture is queen size bed, 50 plus inch TV and a rolltop desk with his laptop. Have no idea what his sheets are. This is a successful professional man, a bachelor who owns his house. What do you suggest for colors and patterns, if any?

Heavy black silk pillow case main section. Some manly tone on tone.
    Brown peachskin cuff.
And the trim section a non-stiff khaki colored fake leather.

I would stay with lots of shades of brown with black as the highlight. I think if wanted other colors from the color wheel he would have done it. Maybe a batik with lots of browns in the pattern.

There seems to be a lot of black in that room and dark colors. Black drapes. I'm thinking fine quality fabric in animal prints for the pillowcases with a narrow black border between the case itself and medium brown border in a similar color to the bed covering. I would also put a zebra or stripe border around the hem of those black drapes if possible. A few silk dupioni goldy/tan bed pillows would be nice as with his monogram initial in the center.

I think this is just going to a simple valentine gift or something. The guy probably wouldn't let anyone mess with his decor.

I started to reply about animal prints, but people have very different views of animal prints. I'd not try it for someone I didn't know.
