The circle is not hard! I promise. There are no curved pieces. You can sew the circle on with hand sewing or embroidery stitches on the edge with your machine or just straight sewing around the circle 1/4" in. I just sew it 1/4" in and turn it and sew slowly. It really isn't hard and once this is over it is just straight blocks sewn together! And with this small project you will only be doing 4 circles. It won't be 30 or something like you would for a large quilt. so don't anybody stress too much about the circle. If nothing else you can attach it with steam a seam or something like that if the circle stitching really bothers you.

So I hope we all have fun making the drunkard's path blocks bookmark!!

Reminder because so many have asked.

I will be posting the first lesson on Fri evening March 26. This is so people can work on it on the weekend if they want to. I am not a morning person so I thought I would post the evening before so everyone would have it Sat morning. Otherwise it might be noon on Sat before I got it posted!!! LOL

Yeah I really didn't think there would be much interest. Minis intimidate people alot and the drunkard's path intimidates a lot of people. But I have things like this I wanted to share. Not enough original ideas to write a book and not enough info to fill enough pages for one. I was going to write a tutorial for the drunkard's path done my way but I got the idea from Cute when she did her hexagons to do it as a class instead. So thanks Cute for paving the way! And I also have been following Billy's thread on making a row each month on a lap quilt. So I thought why not combine the two ideas and present the info in stages only weekly instead of monthly.
So thanks guys for the inspiration. I learn so much from you all too! The opportunity to be a teacher and to share what I have learned is priceless to me! I wanted to be an elementary teacher when in college but I got married and never pursued it. So now I have the opportunity to teach and I so appreciate you all letting me!
