Are There Any Quilt Patterns That Give You The Creeps?

I don't see any negativity in this thread. Nowhere has anyone disparaged anyone else's tastes or preferences. Many posts have referenced the fact that, even though a pattern may not be a favorite, we can still see and appreciate the skills and talents of the quilter.
One of the things I've enjoyed the most about this board is the huge number of members with their extremely varied tastes and skill levels. I've been amazed by projects that I can't imagine trying for myself, and I've broadened the way I think about fabrics and patterns because of what the amazing quilters have shown here.
Surely we can share our "dislikes" in a polite, nonjudgemental way. After all, think how boring this board would be if we all liked the same patterns and fabrics!

But I love all others, especially scrappy, simple block types that can go on a picnic & to the beach. I love looking at art quilts but the art gene skipped me.

Geez, I don't know about eatin' worms, I would probably make anything as long as I didn't have to eat worms. I love all quilts, everyone tells a story. I think I am more a fan of the older quilts. when the women who made them, made them for a reason, to keep there family warm. There was alot of LOVE put into those quilts. Now days you can do all kinds of stuff, which makes it all easier. Bargello, not a real fan, but who is going to come out with something to make everything easier? Who knows what quilting will look like 30 years from now.

I've seen patterns, that I would never think to make, done so they were simply beautiful, but I've also seen some combinations of patterns and fabric that just made me cringe. So I guess for me, it's all according to the colors/fabrics used in the pattern. I love scrap quilts, crazy quilts except when the embroidery is just too much, floral/watercolor bargellos, not thrilled with the twisted bargellos though I did see one that was to die for. What does turn me off is when I see so much quilting on a quilt that you can no longer make out the pattern or the fabric.
