I get tired of the dreary colors like (don't throw that at me) the Thimbleberry stuff. I know, I know, theres a lot of people that love it but after doing several quilts in those dark, dreary (to me), drab colors I get to where I want to vomit.

Bright orange and dark blue. Being from Central Illinois, home of the Illini, you'd think I'd like those colors but after several years of warehousing, inventorying, and selling orange and blue clothing and other items for the athletic association I learned to despise it.

I'm not a fan of army like colors. Drab and dull to me. Not crazy of uber bright colors either.

However, every color will look good surrounded by other complimentary colors, so just a matter of taste and preference.

I always think this is an interesting topic. There are so many variations of colors. My favorite has always been orange, but you will not find one bit in my wardrobe. Looks awful on me! But will you find lots in my stash with lots of other bright colors. Someone once said my stash looks like a pack of "Now & Laters"!!!
