Your sewing machine repair shop or a handy man/appliance repair guy could probably hook you up :D:D:D

After not seeing anything on-line, that was my second idea. :-D I'll take my machine in some Saturday in the next two months, so I'll ask him. He's a Bernina dealer... but he'll know.

    Thanks!

Any electrician can rewire the foot pedal and the machine plug to a longer cord. Take it to an electrical shop, it shouldn't cost but a few dollars for the cord and maybe 30 min. labor cost. I would use a licensed electrician not a machine repairman. The lay of the cord has to be connected right or it will twist, there is a right end of the cord for each end of the connections. Like coiling up a water hose. Not done right and it will twist.

My foot pedal is an air tube so it was easy to buy a longer tube and insert it, no electric expertise needed. I still don't know how it works but it does.
