You could have Billy (Lostn51) paint it for you for about a 1/3 of the price. He does beautiful custom work.

I have a red one which I ordered custom painted (my avatar) - certainly did not pay what they are asking.

Mine has the scroll face, box of attachments and the original case.

When we had our auction prior to moving into the apt., I thought I had reached the jack pot when my featherweight went for $250. It was in excellent shape and sewed the mot beautiful straight stitch. Many times I wish I still had it.

I have seen a featherweight free-arm for sale for $1000 at an antique store, just didn't want it THAT bad! Some friends just gave me a featherweight in the org. case just cause she didn't sew or quilt and i did! God love your friends!
