That is so cute, haven't done that or anything similar yet, but just wait - quilting and thinking of fabrics seems to always be on my mind.

There is no such thing as too much fabric! Every time I go to pull fabric for a new quilt, I always find that I'm coming up short on something, usually the background fabric(s). So off I go to get more. Who can buy just a little. . .no, I have to buy half the store & some of it actually does end up being background! I wash it, iron it & out it away with all of it's friends. It will end up in a quilt - some day!
