Default thinking of buying Little Gracie 2 quilting machine...input please

All,
There is a Little Gracie 2 home quilting machine for sale locally here from a lady that never used it because she bought it then decided to make the big jump to a Gammill.

Does anyone have the Little Gracie 2 system and how is it working for you??? Any input would be helpful. She is asking $450 for system but stitch regulator would be $400 more and she also has laser for $25.

I wanted to use my older Bernina (1010) but called the manufacturer today and they said it's difficult to thread machine with Berninas in general. What would you suggest for least expensive machine for the system?

Not much money in budget now so critical to know if this is good buy.

Thanks for input. Value the opinions of those on this board. Thanks, Dianna

you could probably use a brother PQ1500s or the Juki TL-98Q

I test drove the Janome 1600p and it was lovely! And the grace frames ... I am a huge fan!
You could get the frame now, try it with the Bernina, and then upgrade to a janome or juki at a later time.

Stitch regulators are $500 new and no sales or discounts on them. But each are made for particular machines so do some research on them. Just google them.
