I am always losing pieces and I haven't moved from the sewing machine. Yesterday I was doing some paper piecing and lost one of the sections. (still sitting at the machine) Looked all over- behind and under the machine, on the floor, in the waste basket - not to be found. So I traced a replacement and wouldn't you know when I finished sewing the section I found the lost one - where - In the waste basket right on top where I had looked before! I think all of us have had that experience once or twice - maybe more.

I've looked for my glasses when they're on my face.
Great stories everyone.

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one. But it started when I was much younger. I was in a hurry to hem some pants so I could wear them right away. I finally was done and held them up to see.Would you believe I hemmed the same leg twice. (they made nice shorts).LOL

Now I know why I feel so at home here. It is so nice to know I'm not the only one.
