I love to use it for everything!! But I don't have a longarm. So far it's been great and I've been using their thread since 2011. I don't seem to notice the lint either.

I use CT's threads for all my piecing and LAing.

I like their thread for piecing. I had no problem with lint. The beige Aurifil I am using now is very much more linty. Both are cotton 50/3 threads.

I paid $35 for the Aurifil cone and $9.99 for the Connecting Threads. For that savings, I will buy Connecting Threads every time.

Most people like Connecting Threads thread and the price is definitely the least expensive I have found for 3 ply cotton thread. But I also found it way too linty. I have used it for piecing and my LA. I did not like their essential pro at all. I used up the cone I bought to try it out and will not reorder. There are too many other products I like much better for quilting, like Glide, Isocord and Superior products. For the cottons I bought, I will use up what I have, I doubt I will order more.

You never know if you like it until you try it and for the cost of it, you certainly won't break the bank ordering some, especially if you piggy back the thread on a larger order to get the free shipping. I prefer using a 2 ply thread for piecing as opposed to a 3 ply. The 2 ply is finer and allows my seams to lay flatter.

I use it all the time for piecing and quilting....maybe a bit more linty than others, but really not a big deal....the color selection is great, sale pricing is wonderful and free shipping with a $50 order (add in 2 battings when 30% off and you are right there)....love the fabric quality for the price...great customer service.....my go to online store for quilting

I LOVE CT threads , both the essential pro and the cottons. I think I have one of every color at this point and I use them daily !

I have bought from them several times. I like the variety of colors, and am happy with the quality as well.

Love it! I use their thread for quilting on my DSM and it's great. Never had a problem with breakage. Linty, yes, but not any more so than most standard quilting thread. I like it so much I bought a spool of every single color last time they had a sale! And now I see they've come out with varigated thread too, so that's even cooler.

Really like their thread. I find that some of the colors are more linty than others, the red is VERY linty, just clean lint out after every bobbin change.
