Default the weirdest fabric

I'm starting a sports themed quilt for a friend. One of the fabrics I'm using is a referee jersey print. It's soooooooo realistic that you totally expect it to feel like a jersey but it's a regular cotton print. This quilt will have a t-shirt in the center and then star points of baseballs on navy blue and the star centers is the jersey print. I found a baseball border print for the borders.

I have to wait until Friday to order the border print and find just the perfect t-shirt on ebay so it'll be a week or so before I can post pics of this one.

There are some incredibly amazing fabrics being made with advances in photography. I didn't know that it was being done in cottons for quilting---Cool!!!

Sounds awesome, can't wait to see it!

Last year someone (Moda?) had a line of flannel with a couple of prints that looked like knit. They looked completely real.
