Everyone,

I must show off my current thread stash. JoAnne Fabrics in Waterloo Iowa was moving to a new location.
I tried, really tried, to NOT buy. But when it hit 90% off I succumbed!
The small spools were 18 cents apiece, larger spools 24 cents, and the cones were 49 cents!
I bought some one day, then back the next, and next. Finally I went in and bought the remaining Gutterman thread.

This basket is 16" X 24" and better than half full. I spent $100 total for $1000 worth of thread!

To think, I used to live in Cedar Falls. I could have gotten in on that deal if I still lived there. :(

I'm with you - there is no way I would pass up 90% off of good quality thread. Congratulations on a fantastic haul.

Cool!! It is great you were able to hang in there to get a rock bottom price.
