I had a few pdfs on my online store at one time and I went through a company that was supposed to make them downloadable instantly when people bought them. It didn't work very well.

I have been thinking of doing some downloadable patterns but I need to find a better situation to figure out how to make them instant downloads.

Anybody have any experience in this? Any good companies to work with?

My patterns are online through my distributors. I don't have any downloadable ones. I would suggest that you shop around for distributors. They each offer different things.

I typed 'website service for instant downloads' and more information then I'll never need. I'd go to Kim Komando web site first. You can trust who she says is reliable. This one has good reviews from users on seller forums.

I have a downloadable store - except I sell digital scrapbook items. But it would be the same. Look into the zen store software, it is free and easy to set up. You just need the web space to put it on. Or you might just set up something on your blog with a PayPal button.
