Is your thread stash as large as you fabric stash? Mine sure isn't. I use a lot of white and basic colors.

I have more fabric, but I have alot of thread with just a little on the spool, and I am trying to use it up. Sometimes several of the same color.

Mine is getting there. I have hundreds of spools of machine embroidery thread, hundreds of spools of polyester sewing thread left from when I did so much apparel and craft sewing. Now I am accumulating cotton quilting thread for the long arm. I have lots of old wooden spools of thread as decoration in the sewing studio. I also have a lot of serger thread. You can't have just one or two colors of anything.

I have lots of thread because I have several machines. I have about 400+ colors of embroidery thread alone. I use cones thread for the basic colors and then have about 100+ smaller spools for special projects in the past and future.

Wow, I'd better get in the program. Need to start "stashing" thread. I tend to use neutral colors. Still getting used to all of this.

I, too, use natural or basic neutral colored threads.

mmmmm... nope.

I confess I mostly just stick with white, tan, red, and black.
