I have 3 SBS and 3 SB Sams that were hand appliqued to make into a baby quilt. I know there needs to be at least 9 blocks, so what would you do? And how would you set them?
(I can't do hand applique)

You could alternate with solid squares and then do some pretty quilting in the solid squares. Maybe even a SBS motif.

Why not do a 3 by 4 block setting with snowball blocks in between?

The quilt in your Avatar has six blocks. Could you not use that pattern with sashing & borders to get it to the desired size?

I didn't even think of that!

Thanks for the suggestions. Trying the different layouts is going to make this unique.

I recently had the same problem - only 6 blocks, and wanted a 3x3 setting. Here is what I did:

Who says you have to have 9 blocks? You can use any number your little heart desires!!
