Can some one please advise me on the quality of these threads as advertise in the link below. Are they OK for quilting? I tend to buy Gutermann which is a little more expensive.

I love their thread and have used it for at least 6 yrs. I started out with one collection and have added single colors as I needed them and I also buy their cones in white, beige, gray, and black. Some say that they are too linty and their machines don't like this thread, but my computerized machine is very tolerant of any thread, thank goodness and none has ever given me any trouble. I only wish that I had one of every color they have.

I use it all the time, just received an order of over $100 worth last week. No complaints here.

I like them also, have had a cream one in my sewing machine for the longest time. Their spools aren't extra wide like most large spools of thread so you don't need to use an insert to keep the thread on your spindle.

One thing I also like about Connecting Threads is the shipping is free if you order $50 or more, easy to do if some of your quilting pals order some items with you. May in Jersey

I like the thread a lot. And I use it for quilting and piecing.

I've been using the Essential Pro poly cone thread in my bobbins. It's thinner thread then the Essential cotton.
