The first thing I'd do with it is to wash the fabric. Smaller pieces might need to be in a mesh bag. You never know where some of this fabric has come from. Wash, wash, wash.

If you don't want to fool with them, and if they are dog bandanas, you could donate forward to a shelter or pet rescue to fancy up the pooches on adoption days.

I really like the idea of donating them to a pet shelter. If you have a serger then you can put a rolled edge on them in nothing flat, no effort at all. The added effect of a bandana on a dog up for adoption might help get the dog adopted and save its life. And wouldn't that make you feel great!
