Does it have a slant needle? If it does, I may have some extra things that will go with it.

Going there often is the answer. The only reason I go so much is
that it is my husbands favorite pass time. Ha! I do find things a lot
so I don't complain to much. Ha!

I never see anything nearly that nice in the thrift stores around here. That is a serious bargain!

I have this machine and cannot part with it I love it that much I have a Brother Pacesetter and still avert back to the Singer don't figure Its just the I have had it for so long and know it well Great find for you and hope that you love it as much as I do Congrats

Whenever I go to the local Goodwill or any thrift shop I very rarely if ever find anything as great has some of you have. The only thing I've ever found was a large ziplock bag full of thread that turned out to be very bad as it broke after sewing 5-10 stitches! I ended up using it for basting my quilts with it -- even then it kept breaking. I eventually threw a lot of it in the garbage. I couldn't open the baggy as it was stappled shut. Maybe I should have done it anyway.
