We have had our tin lizzy with the Marian for 4 years now and it has done well but now the computer is going crazy! You can set the quilting area make a pattern box load your pattern and start to run it and then the light bulb on screen starts going all over screen. It loads up properties under the scale part and you can't get out of it... When i g it out of this mode and try to start again by taping on green button it loads up properties again....I take pictures for dealer so she will believe me that it is doing this and still I get you must of selected properties it's easy to do when you are scaling I explain the machine is running and on the second repeating pattern when it does this... Anyone else have problems like this? I seem to get no where but irratation from dealer and that this is my fault and that I don't see to know how to do anything..... She even went as far to think I bought the pattern not for statler stitcher like it was the first time I loaded a pattern....have a quilting business I think I know how to. Buy and load a pattern.....then she emailed me the Manuel really? I will never own another tin lizzy also have an APQ love that machine great dealer too

They don't take you seriously but are very quick to make it your fault or treat you like you are so incompetent to even know how to run the tin lizzy... Had ours for 4 years I am pretty sure we know how to use it...they just don't know how to fix it

I don't have a Tin Lizzie per se; I have a Queen Quilter, which was the original. I have had nothing but problems with the company I purchased from (SewingMachinesPlus.com) and Tin Lizzie. I guess this is what happens when you try and save a few bucks. I finally had to take it to the dealer in Reno, NV. I discovered the encoders were not functioning. The dealer replaced the encoders. The machine worked fine for a while. Then because I wasn't using it all the time, each time I went to use it, it would do the same thing it did in the beginning. I had it serviced before I left Reno, NV. I have had it serviced (cleaned and oiled) twice here in MO. It is a piece of junk. The dealer in Reno, NV quit carrying the Tin Lizzie's. The dealer in Springfield, MO quit carrying and is no longer a dealer for Tin Lizzie. I found a technician repairman in Barnett, MO who seems to be pretty knowledgeable. I have an appt. to take it in on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Maybe I can get it to finally do what it was made to do instead of taking up space and collecting dust.

TO ALL WHO WANT TO BUY A LONG ARM--DO NOT BUY A TIN LIZZIE. IT IS NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE AND A PIECE OF JUNK.
