I,too pictured little mittens for toes and thought why not just wear socks. She means a bed runner.

Yes, I do make my bed every morning and this will be so much easier than rescuing my king quilt from the floor!

Thanks to all who have given me wonderful ideas. This board never fails to amaze me!

I have sevearal bed scarves patterns. I have 2 posted on the web site. I can design a simple free pattern if you tell me what kind you want. Regular pieceing applique, paper piecing. Let me know. they are bed scarves or bed runners. Have fun!

Can anyone help me?
I live down South as well, but have 2 adopted Greyhounds that think my bed is their's, (but only in the daytime - they have their own beds for night time) so I cover my bedspread with a quilt during the daytime, and roll it down at night. Their paws and nails always seem to make pulls in my bedspread - but the brdwarmers do look beautiful
