Default Have you ever used a Snap Hoop on your machine?

Hello all,

I've been learning about Snap Hoops and was wondering if anyone here on the board has used one on their embroidery machine and if it worked well for you?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I've heard of snap hoops for quilting but never for embroidery machine. Do you have a source?

No, I've seen a promotional short video on You Tube (if I remember correctly).

are these safe with the computerized machine? Be careful of that, but I do think they look interesting,

They are safe, however they slip easily and things get misaligned easily. The monster hoop is suposed to be stronger so if I were to go with one I would go with that. After using one in a class I passed on it.

I want to try them for my embroidery machine but waiting for the extra money. First I want to get the largest hoop my machine will handle, it pretty much the biggest you can get. Make sure you get one that is made for your machine though.
