Default Totally freaking out

I bought my husband a new grill yesterday. It's gas and charcoal and has a smoker. Today, he decided I should get a new sewing machine. I currently have the Singer Confidence Stylist. I don't have any complaints, but I have been saying a wider throat and embroidery features would be great. So we went to our local dealer. He has Janome and Husqvarna. I didn't have a budget, other than I myself didn't really want to go over $1000. I get buyers remorse before I even buy, so spending money is hard for me. I ended up with a Viking Topaz 30. Obviously went over the $1000 budget, by another $1100! He added in 4 other feet and I get 25% off any accessories. I also get lifetime unlimited classes. It was a good deal, but I have a hard time spending money on myself so I'm freaking out. I hope I love it. Right now though, I still have sweaty palms from the check I wrote!

The topaz was rated by consumers digest last year as the best buy in embroidery machines....can I suggest that you get the viking three year extended warranty? It covers EVERYTHING for the three year period - including cleanings! and given the cost of cleaning, and assuming you'll get it cleaned annually as recommended (tho you can do it more often), you'll save lots...since the cost of the warranty is about the cost of one cleaning!

You have a very nice husband to do that for you. Accept it, give him lots of hugs and kisses in payment and get to sewing.
