I'm looking for a way to portray tree leaves using green mottledfabric. I've got some ideas but there are probably ways of doing it than what I can think of.
Thanks for reading this, and hope some of you can help me out.

Do you mean you are looking for block patterns of leaves? Silver Linings originals has some beautiful free PP patterns.

Here is a link for you to download

Are you appliquing or piecing them?

I like to make "split" leaves using two different fabrics. It can really add depth. (I hope this is what you were asking.)

Thanks Gramma, it is what I do! Been sidetracked with traditional quilting, but going to get back to it soon! The one with the corn is my first art quilt, no going back, for long, anyway.

They are beautiful. Have you entered them in to any show?

You may want to reconsider, I think they are show worthy!
