Previously on this board there was talk/video on triangulations and I watched it and thought I might look into it. So, I just did - first at triangulations website, then at Amazon where the price was much less 58.00 vs 27.00-guess which one I ordered. It has hst/qrt t/ and flying geese....sounds interesting....does anyone here use it?

Use it all the time. I bought mine from Connecting threads. It's the easiest way to do perfect HST.

I just bought it to make 60+ flying geese for an LQS bom I'm participating in. I haven't made them yet (they are my project for this week...maybe). I'm hoping I don't get as much wasted fabric. :-D :-D

well, I just checked my email and my triangulations from Amazon.com has been shipped...total cost 30.01 (s&h incl)not a bad price I hope........I was just in my sewing room doing some hst with the triangles on a roll....when I run out of that roll, I will be able to make my own!!!!! Now if I was really into this I would/should sit down and calculate the cost of the t on roll compared to printer paper, ink, blah, blah....and see which is more "cost effective", but I am not a CPA, just a compulsive quilter

The issue with the rolls is that they don't come in all the HST sizes you're able to get with Triangulations! Triangulations is much better, you'll see.

As far as triangulations go - I have no idea of what you are talking about. I do know that I know all of the formulas to come up with perfect HSTS, QSTS and Flying geese all day long. It really is simple math and no waste at all. Take a look at my very first post - Flying Geese Discussion (just search for it) and if you have other questions, I would be happy to answer them. Trust that you can do simple math and you won't have to hand over 3 cents! for someone else's idea. Then again - you've already spent the money.

Google Triangulations. If you don't know what this is, you can research it. Why comment about the product if you don't even know what it does or is? Yes, we can probably all spend the time to convert and deduce the correct formulas, but the software is made to make quilting fun and easy. That's what all quilting tools are supposed to do.
