We have an event coming up on May 1st that I think you might be interested in.

Pat Knoechel Lecture, Demo, Trunk Show

May 1, 2010 | 1:00

The program will feature the newest publications from Quilt in a Day. Books: Quilt Blocks on American Barns and Orion's Star. Patterns: Autumn Leaves, Twice as Nice and Whirligig.

She will be here in Jacksonville at the Jacksonville Commons Middle School. The tickets are $5 each and there will be door prize drawings, refreshments, lots of quilts on display, some selling tickets for raffle on them, and of course, Quilt in a Day items on sale.

Let me know if you are interested in coming, maybe we could have coffee after the show is over. The Guild I belong to is sponsoring the show so I'll be working until after it is over. I have tickets and will be happy to send you directions to the school.

Hugs,
Sharon

Got all excited until I read your address - Jacksonville, NC - not Jacksonville, FL. Oh, well.

Hey, it's going to be a great show! Our guild has brought her here for the last seven years and we're always sold out early. Come on here, we have beaches.

Doors open at 1:30 PM, show starts at 2 PM, we have her scheduled until 4 PM but we do not stop her if she's on a roll. 5 new patterns plus the Orion Star...it's gonna be great. Refreshments and door prizes. Let me know if you need a ticket and I'll send you my address. $5 now or $6 at the door.

:D
