Here's a block I drew in EQ. If you tell me what size you want the center to be I can PM you with rotary cutting info. It's not exactly the same; I didn't include any border around the star as I thought you'd want to do your own.

Google Giant Vintage Star quilt and youmwill find a giant star tut that uses fat quarters. One of my quilters made it in 45 minutes and took two hours to quilt it! It come out about 72" square but you can easily add borders to enlarge it

There is a book that might help you with this. It is called Fractured Stars. A lap size quilt is shown with four large stars but the book might help you enlarge your pattern. Here it is on Amazon. Just noticed there is one 48x48 size that is one big star.

You can also just take an accurate drawing in "normal" size to Kinko's or Staples and they can enlarge it to whatever size you want. Draw a 1" square in one corner so you can verify their accuracy before you pay for it (it should blow up accurately).

I've donethis many many times for a lap/couch quilt -- here's an example tho it wasn't done yet... you just need to increase the size of the "units" - here each square finished at 5.5 inches - so with borders added it was a 58 x 70[ATTACH=CONFIG]367061[/ATTACH]
