A couple of weeks ago someone asked a question about charity quilts - preferrably children's quilts. Someone else gave an answer that Downy Quilts for Kids has a program where they send you the kit, and you put it together and return it with one of your own. Well, it came today, and it got me out of my funk, and am half done. Thank you to the person with the info. Now I am ready to rock!

Yes, the Downey Quilts are wonderful and so fast and easy to do. If you are interested, you should check in your local community for needs of quilts for kids or even adults. In my area, I have just learned our hospital provides fabrics (kits) and we make small quilts for a patient who is dying. The quilt is on the end of the bed and when the patient passes away, the quilt goes home with the family. There is so much community needs for quilts.

And I am ready to see the quilts you make. Bless you for doing charity quilts for the kids. You are a special person.
