What is your favorite Fusible?
I'm working on my Row by Row quilt. A lot of the patterns have applique in them. I have very little experience with this and wonder what fusible is best to use.
If you have a favorite, can you tell me why you like it?
thanks for the help.

I always use Heat n Bond Lite but now they also have Ultra Lite. I use the purple pkg. and I think the ultra lite is a pink or blue pkg. Do NOT use the one in the red pkg. for applique. It is too heavy and stiff and is for just crafts like covering boxes, etc. Also be sure to just use the Heat n Bond around just the edges of your larger pieces. For instance, if you want to make Sunbonnet Sue just use about 1/4 inch around her dress and apron, but her hand and shoe will be Heat n Bond allover.

I prefer Wonder Under (Pellon 805) or Mistyfuse because: both can be tack fused for easy repositioning, both are easy to sew through multiple layers by hand or machine, both are easy to find, both leave needles completely 'gum free', both can be purchased in small amounts or by the bolt, and Wonder Under can be run through an ink jet printer to print patterns directly on the release paper (Mistyfuse is paperless). Mistyfuse is lighter weight and does not change the hand of the fabric. It can also be used on sheers quite nicely.

I also use the Pellon Wonder Under 805, probably because like Orlinth, that's the one I have used on a regular basis Plus, it is easy for me to find and I've never had any problems with it. It works just like it should.
