Default TV pillow and seatbelt pillow

Latest project for GD#3 ... we're going to visit this weekend. The TV pillow is 24" square, zipper in bottom and is reversible. The seatbelt pillow goes over the seatbelt (with velcro) so the childs neck/head will be protected when they fall asleep.

I've never seen a seat belt pillow. That's a wonderful idea. I'm sure the gifts will be loved.

thanks Lisa.

The seatbelt pillow is based loosely on this tutorial
http://domesticwonder.wordpress.com/...llow-tutorial/

I saw them on Pinterest at http://pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=seatbelt+pillow

The pillow is just 24" square with a zipper in the bottom.

Nancy I quilted the fabric on my longarm. thanks

I forgot to add above that I did not use the foam scraps .... I took an old bed pillow and cut it in half ... foam scraps are lumpy in my opinion.

I made a smaller seat belt cover to put on my seat belt the pillow bit I slide to fit between my breasts. So much more comfortable than a sharp seat belt cutting in.

I think I'll make a seat-belt pillow for myself. LOL I'm 5'1" and that belt cuts into my neck. On long trips, it is miserable.

So glad you posted this; what a great idea.

The pillow was a huge hit .... the seatbelt pillow was received ok. I'm sure she'll come to love it on long rides.
