Has anyone figured out a layout for a Christmas tree skirt using a twister tool?

It is a template that is used to cut sewn blocks. Here is an example of a wall hanging.

This may work for a skirt by adding another row around the outside and trimming the whole thing into a circle.

I can draw one up, but you need to be more specific as to what kind of a tree skirt you want. Do you want it completely twisted, twists throughout, do you want it round or more of a star type effect. I have several things this coming week (a guild presentation, shop hop, quilting classes, and two open sews)....needless to say a busy sewing week, but could do it after that if you are a little more specific.
