When you say you picked up the 3 1/2" template, do you mean you bought the Lil Twister (which starts off with 5" squares) or the Primitive Pinwheel Tool (that starts with 3 1/2" squares)?

HandCraftsByJen ... your snowman has got to be THE BEST Twister I've seen yet!
Have you showcased it in a thread?
Please provide the link, so I can enjoy it even more!

Because of the self-promotion rules, Jennifer cannot mention that her Snowman Twist pattern will be available on her website (link in her signature) starting Dec 1st...but I sure can!

Thanks Ghostie!!

Though I would suspect that HandCraftsByJen could post her snowman in a thread, so long as she just shows it off ... and does not say OBTW I have the pattern for sale!

This is interesting, so can someone PM someone about a pattern that they have available. I sure would want people to let me know if there is something of interest available to me, that is one of the reasons I like this forum, you can find almost anything on here, thanks to everyones help.

The site mentioned above, http://happyquiltingmelissa.blogspot...quilt-for.html is a great tutorial for a baby quilt. A tip, after cutting your squares and they are stacked in piles for each row, secure each pile with a Wonder Clip or something and label them row 1, row 2 etc.... This will help you get used to the twister process. Be prepared to become addicted to twister !

Yes, we can PM someone, we just can't post about it.

Can someone explain the different tools...I know the 5 and 10 inch twister tools to use with 5 and 10 inch squares but what are the Bitty primitive tool and the Primitive pinwheel tool?

Thank you

I've just been searching all over for ideas and directions for twister. When I used google I turned up a lot of blogs with pics and info. on Bing I came up with quite a few pictures and Pininterest has scads of pictures for inspitation, Today's plan is a Christmas tree done in all different greens which I am going to embelish with whatever I have around. Someone on here has the tag line " I never met a pattern I couldn't tweak" - describes me to a T.
