I just had to share this delight.... I found this on CraigsList and got the machine AND the cabinet, for $50.00...........the cabinet has some water damage, needs refinish, but it all works and is sturdy.....the machine (a Phoenix gold design) is pretty good, it has a bent bobbin holder thing that needs to be replaced, I think...but its in pretty good shape and the price was amazing, I think!

thanks all... I am pleased to get it.......found out the bobbin thingy is NOT bent, it just has to have the bobbin (bullet) inserted in a different way from my 128 lady...the treadle seems stiff...I think it needs oil? or a new belt? or is there a way to adjust it? the folks I bought it from didnt know anything about how to work it, belonged to her grandmom, she says....

thanks..have a strange thing happening now..the folks I got it from says the price was wrong on the add and they really wanted to sell it for 125. not 50. so now I am in a bit of a quandry about what to do. I have it here at my house, but I feel bad for them, as they tell me they needed the money for a sick child...I told them to come get it, if that is what they want to do, that I can't pay them that much more. So guess we will see what happens next....strange, huh?
