That still isn't as bad as the local stores increase in price. I see a dollar and more per yard...ouch!

The worst thing about this is that when the price of fuel levels off and goes back down everything else will stay high priced. I'm tired to death of this game. They are slowly eroding the middle class and the poor don't stand a chance! They should all be ashamed.

What makes me angry is the gas in the tank was there already, and they raise the price. The same in the groc stores and Joann's, its not the new merchandise they raise.

Being from a self owned filling station family..you realize that maybe the gas in the tank was already there..but also when gas comes down so is the gas that the owner had to pay premium for..and has to take a loss..it is not the gas stations fault..they are not the ones making more money..it is the government..if the government would let them drill her in the states the gas would not cost so much..unless the government put a high tax on it also..

My husband has owned and operated his own truck for a major moving company for 28 years and last month had to finally walk away from it as have thousands of truckers. Overhead on maintenance is ridiculous and now with the cost of the fuel and getting 5 miles per gallon has put us as well as many out of the business. So sad...I just started a quilting class at Jo-Ann Fabric on Wed night and I was in the store 2 days before that and in those 2 days their cottons had gone up $3.00 a yard.
