They are both gorgeous!!!
I have a hard time making the same quilt more than once, with the exception of Log Cabins.
You did a wonderful job!! Jinny Beyer is my fav!!!!!!!! :D

Gosh! They are both beautiful. Love the colors in both of them. I agree, I like variety and there are so many patterns I want to try. I find it hard to do two of the same pattern, especially back to back.

Hey Susan , this actually is a log cabin the strips are narrow for the dark side and wider on the light, that is what makes the curve.

Both are gorgeous! I really like warm colors, so the first one is my favorite.

I've made some quilt patterns many times, but never 2 times in a row. It helps me to have several different projects, at different stages, going at the same time.

they are both beautiful but I prefer the colors of the first one.
I don't make any two quilts the same pattern if I can help it. Keeps me more interested in finishing them. :)
Some might be similar but different enough that they look like totally different quilts.
