If you like it, who cares what other have done in the past. Maybe you'll start a new fad when we get to see the pictures of it.
Have fun with it.

You'd better hide, I think I hear the sirens off in the distance.

I think variegated might be very interesting on a whole cloth, look forward to seeing it.

About wool batting... should it be washed first? I read some stories about it shrinking horribly when the quilt was washed after quilting.

Well, I decided to take it out and start over. Thanks for encouraging me anyway.

I don't know about the wool, should I wash it? This is the time to do it, before I start again.

We might send a "Quilt Inspector" to you but not the police!

LOL! Do yorkies count as quilt inspectors? My pup Gizmo just loves the quilts I work on. He lays on the half I'm not working on. :)

IMHO a quilt inspector is any live creature that sniffs, pulls, climbs, or lays on a quilt. Yes Yorkies are inspectors!

What!! Before you showed us. How disappointing. Was looking forward to seeing how it looked. Oh well, maybe another time.
You're right, it's yours to do with as you please. Hope you're happier with it this time.

I think if that's what you wanted to use it's fine. It might even add a whole new dimension to your quilt.

I got the wholecloth mini that was posted on here a while back and was wondering if pressing it would set the blue ink. Does anyone know? I've emailed the company and asked but no response so far. If it won't, I'm planning on using Prismacolor pencils on it before I quilt it.
