DON"T IRON!!!
heat sets the blue ink!
you also need to wash with cold water after you are finished to remove the stencil ink.

What is your address so I can notify them?????ha ha.
Whole cloth is one piece of fabric and quilted in red, white, yellow and even varigated etc. If you have seen the samples in The Stencil Co booth at a quilt show you will see the many ways these small quilts have been completed.
I was at a show the past few days where there were two categories for whole cloth They were: traditional and revisited. Traditional was just what it says. Revisited was using the whole cloth style (one piece) but with embelleshhments of different threads etc.
So whole cloth is one piece for background and quilted.
BTW....I just notified the inspectors/police in your area not to some see you.....lol

I'd love to see it, too. Now you have me started thinking about doing a small whole quilt. I like the idea of the variegated thread. I quilt most of my quilts in variegated threads. So far the quilt police have not arrested me.

The first hand quilting class I took had us use white muslin and colored thread so we could see our stitches better. I used a matching binding and made a wall hanging out of it.

As far as I know the inks on the preprinted tops can be set when you iron them and the producers suggest not to do it.
I finally heard back from them and they said it would be okay just to heat set my colors from the back side.
