Hello my name is Leona and I have sewing machine acquisition disorder. I have a janome 10000, Viking Sapphire, and a featherweight for every decade that they were produced except for the white modeland free arm model. on days when I am feeling blue, i change to another machine, and feel great. Cheaper than drugs, drink or therapy.

Well I'll join too. I wanted for years the Brother Disney embroidery machine they sold and started saving gift cards for it but never got close before they discontinued it. Now I can't find one used for sale anywhere. I should have bought it when they had it. Live and learn.

You go girl!!!!! Some people collect salt and pepper shakers...why shouldn't you collect sewing machine? MUCH more practicle!!!!! ;)

I have my eye on a machine I would like. When my mom passes, (she is 91 and failing :( )there will be a few dollars to share with my siblings. I will get it then as a remembrance from her. She is the person that gave me my love of sewing and quilting.

Yup, and I am one such addict. At one point I had over 30 machines. All perfectly useable.

Now THIS is an addiction! What did you do with them all? Where did you store them?

Have to see how big the embr. machine is. Will probably give one of the sergers to my daughter. Of course, her family does not sew. They come to Grandma.

Well, some I gave away. Some I have stored. Most are scattered around the house. If they are in cabinets they act as tables. Featherweights and Kenmore 1020s and 1030s take up very little room actually.

I am right with you ladies. I have two Bernina's and a HQ16 and still looking. Let's face it we can only sew with one at a time but what a party it is.
