Default Brother Dream Machine vs Babylock Destiny

I am considering getting one of these machines. I know the Babylock is more expensive but I can get a floor model for a discount. If you have either of these machines, would you please post your opinions? On an older thread someone said they were pretty much the same machine and probably made by same. Any thoughts? I wish I had dealers close by to check them out but nearest are well over 100 miles away.

Yes, they are both basically the same machine. Feet and hoops are interchangeable. The Dream Machine has Disney designs and you can purchase Disney designs from the Brother website. The Destiny has designs from Nancy Zeiman, it you are unable to use Disney designs if that is what you like. I am not a fan of Disney and would not use that as a marker to purchase a machine. I have the Destiny and love the machine. Baby Lock has "the Love of Baby Lock" a 4 year membership to their online training videos. I got this and have found the videos to be very helpful.
Either machine are wonderful machines and very user friendly.

I have the dream machine and love it. The designs are the only difference. I like the Disney designs but really use designs from other sources there is a learning curve for the design center scan features.

If I didn't already have a top of the line Viking with all of the hoops, I'd get the Dream machine in a heartbeat. I've used it at several retreats and emb events and its great. I love the scanning feature too. Babylock is great too.
